Liquid Damage Policy
At your request Staymobile will attempt to recover your liquid damaged device. The term “liquid damage” includes but is not limited to water, soda, alcohol, sweat and humidity. Please note that the damage incurred to any device by any amount of liquid can be wide spread and often unpredictable. Though uncommon, not all liquid damaged devices can be repaired. Your device may not be in the same condition after the attempted recovery and it may become totally unresponsive due to the corrosive nature of liquids. Any data on the device may be lost. In no event shall Staymobile be liable for data loss or your device becoming unresponsive due to liquid damage. If we are unable to repair your device due to liquid damage you will not be charged.
Electronic devices which have been exposed to liquid and have had their condition compromised are known to be unpredictable before and after any repairs are made on the device.
Staymobile “Liquid Damage Recovery” service is a non-warrantied procedure implemented to stop corrosion on devices and attempt to restore full functionality and or limited functionality to the device in attempt to extend the life of the device. Depending on the level of liquid exposure the device has experienced, our certified Staymobile technicians may offer and explain this service in addition to the price of repairs that may be needed after the device has had this service performed.
Device Abandonment Policy
Any device or accessory left at a Staymobile service center for longer than 45 days after repair or diagnosis is completed will be considered “abandoned” and will be disposed of accordingly. Staymobile will make 3 attempts to contact you via the contact number or email address you provided on the diagnosis form. We will not be held responsible for any devices, or the data on those devices that have been abandoned by the customer. Your device will be recycled and all data will be properly removed. You will not receive any sort of compensation and Staymobile is not responsible for any lost data.
